Superintendent / Foreman

The successful candidate will need to be a team player that has experience in all aspects of civil construction management including earthwork and underground utilities.   Applicant should feel comfortable in a demanding and fast paced environment with a wide scope of work, while maintaining multiple tasks.  Projects range from 25k to 10+ million.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and control labor and work crews engaged in activities concerned with the civil construction, includes determining method of construction, optimizing manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and document actual hours worked.
• Provide quality control; assuring conformity to plans and specifications; maintaining sequences to meet schedule; maintaining short and long-term production schedules; conducting weekly job site coordination and safety meetings.
• Able to demonstrate good organizational skills, following safety policies & procedures and construction work practices.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow procedures, specifications, drawings, and other disciplines.
• -Ensure crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials. Prevent waste and misuse of equipment, materials and tools.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years experience in grading operations, road projects, sewer, storm and water, and general civil infrastructure construction methods.
• Strong leadership, communication and inter-personal skills.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, able to read plans, and ability to control and supervise large groups essential.
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, & Microsoft Project skills a plus

Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators

Jobs are local and consist of both private and public contracts. Position includes operating excavators, dozers and loaders. Applicants must be responsible and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

• Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
• Ability to safely operate heavy construction equipment
• Recognize mechanical issues immediately
• Driver’s License (Required)

Full Time Heavy Equipment / Truck Mechanic

Responsibilities would include the maintenance, repair, diagnostics and service activities on heavy construction equipment and trucks. Candidates should be proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Service truck will be provided for use. The successful candidate will be expected to have their own basic tools for maintenance, service and repair activities. Class B CDL, Class A is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and carry the same for short distances and up and down stairs and steep inclines;

Must be able to climb on, off, and under various pieces of equipment, and physically access all parts of equipment to perform job requirements
